Took less than 30 minutes to install (make sure you have some teflon plumber's tape). I tested it by sprinkling a few drops of water on the sensor and it shut the water off instantly. Great product, especially if your washer is on the first or 2nd floor where water damage from a ruptured hose could be severe. Remember to change water hoses at least every 5 years.

This is a great product. It's easy to install, gives you peace of mind especially when your washing machine is on a second floor, like mine. If the sensor detects water, the valves are closed at the faucet. There is also an off button, making it easy to shut off the water supply without having to reach around the back of the washing machine.
