Customer Rating: - Bought a second one a week after the first
I bought this for myself after having tried plenty of what appeared to be "better" grade flashlights including LED lights. Switches failed on many in short order. Got the Ultra Stinger and showed it to my wife who loves flashlights more than me, and when she asked if it was for her, I said, "Of course. I knew you would like it." She was thrilled. She uses this to look at the fish in the outdoor pond at night. So I ordered another one for myself. One little problem: it felt a lot lighter than the first one. Turns out there was no battery in the unit. Amazon was great. UPS picked up the box the next day and Amazon immediately sent out a replacement, with expedited shipping that arrived in 3 days from my starting the return process. The head of the unit can get pretty warm if left on for a long time. I don't know why this model has such a good light output to price factor compared to many of the other Streamlight products, but it does appear to be the best value in this series of Streamlight products.
