The dive I am forced to stay in has jimmy marks on the outside of the door hardware...The door bar in question gives peace of mind that the door will STAY closed when I'm on the inside, asleep. Saves on the hassle of firearms, and works well as a window jammer to stop entry from my fire escape when I'm away.

This security bar does the job. I had my large teenage son try with all he had to force the door with the bar in place on hardwood floors and carpet. This is no sissy bar.
