Mantis 120 volt Electric Tiller
Good product. Powerful enough to do your small to medium garden work. Easy assembling and easy to use. Since its electric sometimes you get entangled in the wires but that is a small price to pay for the work this machine does.

Quiet, strong, and effective tiller.
I purchased this tiller after reading the reviews for 2-stroke gas, 4-stroke gas, and this electric. Although I love my gas mower, I did not want another gas appliance around the house. So I took a chance on this electric. I love it!!! It took less than an hour to put together (make sure that you have a pair of 7/16" wrenches/sockets). This little machine-that-could did!! It made very quick work of about 500sf of beds that were full of rock and construction debris and compacted soil. It is very quiet, in fact so quiet my wife didn't know that I was tilling right outside the kitchen window. The tiller is light (about 20lbs) and will bounce off of hard soil at first, but keep making short back and forth strokes and the tiller very nicely does its job. Well worth the money!!! Am very pleased! Plus, with Prime, it was delivered in 2 days!!

DISAPPOINTING
THE TILLER DIED ON THE SECOND DAY. I COULD NOT COMPLETE TILLING MY NEW BACKYARD THAT IS ONLY 12' WIDE X 25' LONG!!!! YOU HAVE TO DE-WEED AND MOW AND PULL OUT AS MUCH GRASS AS YOU CAN BEOFRE USING THE TILLER TO BEGIN WITH.
IT IS NOT A CHEAP MACHINE EITHER - SO I WOULD SAY IT IS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING, AS NOW MY YARD IS NOT FINISHED AND THE TILLER IS JUST SITTING ON THE BACK PORCH USELESS.

Love this tiller
I love, love, love this tiller. I don't know why I waited so long to buy it. It is the perfect size for me. I received it on Friday and had already tilled two new flower beds by Sunday. I have Bermuda sod which is very evil. The tiller went right through it. I only had to stop once to remove grass from around the tines. The power is unbelievable. I don't find the extension cord to be a hindrance. I tried using a gas powered, very heavy tiller in the spring and could not manage it. The Mantis electric tiller has done everything I need it to do. I will admit that I did not put it together. A neighbor did that for me and he did complain about the directions being bad but I also know that he did not watch the dvd included with the tiller.
