I bought this misting fan for my five chickens and Big John, my big white rooster. I live in Florida and the humidity is really high. By mid-day they are holding their wings out away from their bodies because of the heat, even in the shade. I already had a misting hose but this outside fan and additional misters has done the trick. The blowing cooling mist really feels great to people after mowing the lawn. Give it a try.

My husband wanted this fan for keeping flies off the front porch of our restaurant. It works great for cooling things down and keeping the flies away, but it soaks people! Not good for a restaurant. Would work great on a patio as long as you don't mind being a little damp.

This year we had our family golf tournament on a 100 degree day. Set up three of these fan misting kits and they were a big success. Could have sold a dozen, if I had extra. Really endorse this product.

The outdoor fan is a great way to get rid of flying insects such as mosquitoes ans gnats by creating air currents. Better and safer than bug sprays, citronella candles (I don't think they work), and any other products. It also makes for a nice breeze on a humid evening. I think its great and would recommend this product.
