Gravity Conversion Kit
I purchased the Fuji 4 Stage HVLP sprayer. It came with the XT gun and a suction style container. I use it in my cabinet shop to spray lacquers and latex paints (use plenty of "Flotrol"). I kept reading about gravity feed and seeing it used by auto painters. Why? That was the question for me. Now I know. Rather than drop another "Hundo" or more on another gun (I have three already) it seemed to be good to purchase this conversion kit. It has produced much more consistent finishes and uniform layers than the suction can. There are no dry spots or flashes. For a conversion kit this is very good. Working with the hose to the side has not been a problem. If you use a gun all day - it would be. The kit did not include any directions. I finally got back on line and looked at the pictures. Before that, I was able to completely clean all the parts after having tried every combination of parts to get the thing attached. Next time I convert back to the suction cup, it should only take about 10 minutes. I probably won't do that anytime soon. I agree with other reviewer that if you are going to have to buy a separate gun - get one set up traditionally. If you have the Fuji HVLP system, like me, then this is a good alternative.

It works as it should.
I recently used this product when repainting the fender on my jeep. I didn't want to deal with a sputtering finish associated with paint running out in bottom feed cups. Doesn't take much to ruin a paint job when using expensive automotive paint. As paint feed ended it just stopped with this gravity feed cup. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is not a traditional top of the gun gravity feed system. It has a 90 degree attachment that goes into the bottom of the stock spray gun. You hold the gun sideways. As i said this worked fine, but some will complain about the feel of the gun with the hose to the side rather then directly below.

Not a wise choice
This product is fine if you want to replace items for your Fuji gun but a far better product is found in accuspray guns. I wish I had not spent good money after bad. A 1 star is plenty when I think how this gun sprays. There is not enough control over the spray pattern like Accuspray has, at least not to my satisfaction. It's priced far too high to choose over Accuspray.
