I wish I could have heard how loud my three new ac units were when I was purchasing them. I couldn't, so that is life.

This unit cools well, and keeps my large living room a nice place to be on a hot and humid day. It works well, is energy efficient, so I have most of what I wanted. I just wish I could tone down the white noise a little.

The unit was installed just in time for the first heat wave of the season and performed very well, cooling a large open area consisting of a living room/dining room/foyer/kitchen. I use a fan to disperse cool air throughout the area. I have had no problems with this unit. The remote is easy to use and has several good options (sleep mode, timer, energy saver, etc).
