The limitation of this low cost foil is its Chinese blade, which over time can bend toward the end and make it harder to direct to target. A serviceable foil for beginners. Colors of pad and handle may vary.

The guard is thinner (will dent/bend easily), but here is part of an overall lowest possible price package. The large hexagonal pommel nut still provides the counterbalance to a Chinese blade, but the handle is a hard plastic one, not the easy to grip all-rubber one that is standard with all other models.
