Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Expand-It tiller attachment
Hooked this attachment to my HomeLite and worked better than I expected. I had to shallow till 16 different areas - a total of 6,000 square feet - to sow wildflower seed and it did the job great even on the stony ground some of the areas contained. It is heavy and really gives a physical workout but far better than the physical effort a hand cultivating tool would have required. Now, I am heading to the garden area to till it up.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great for the yard
This works great on my gas trimmer in NC. Works good for me, it is not meant to replace a full size rototiller.

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice addition
I had an edger Expand-It attachment and was well satisfied so I decided to to give the tiller a try. If you realize it's limitations you will be happy with it. I think it is primarily a power hoe. It does not have the ability to break new ground or untilled ground unless you have a lot of time and patience. It does a great job of cultivating around plants in a garden...just let it do the work and make several passes instead of trying to go deep on the first pass.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works great!!!
Plain and simple, easy to hook up and looks brand new. I cut flower beds, with this thing in 1/10 of the time. I took a spade shovel and just made some cuts in the grass, then hit it with the tiller and it just blew right through it. Don't get me wrond it still a work out, but you cover some serious area in not time at all......stop thinking about it and just buy it.

Sales of semiconductors in November indicate that consumer products such as LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs, digital music players, and other devices sold well during the holidays, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said Monday.

November chip sales rose 2.3 percent year-on-year to $23.1 billion, the SIA said.

Unit demand has far outpaced last year. But falling chip prices have hurt industry revenue, the chip association said. For example, DRAM (dynamic RAM) bit shipments grew 25 percent in the three months through mid-December, but average selling prices have declined 20 percent over the same period.

The association also noted that rising energy prices and concerns about the sub-prime lending issue in the U.S. do not appear to have had a significant impact on consumer spending for the holidays, the SIA said. The group reiterated its forecast that worldwide semiconductor sales will reach a new record in 2007. But it will take a stronger than expected December selling season to reach the 3.8 percent growth goal the group had forecast earlier this year, the SIA said.

Investment banking firm Credit Suisse was not as optimistic as the SIA.

The November data was below normal seasonal trends, noted analyst John Pitzer, in a report on Monday. Even if December reaches its normal seasonal growth, 2007 industry revenue will only reach $255.7 billion, up 3.2 percent over last year. The growth percentage would fall short of the SIA's 3.8 percent target.

The slow November prompted Credit Suisse to lower its 2008 chip industry revenue forecast to 9.4 percent year-on-year growth, down from a previous target of 13 percent.
