Introducing the Ultra Slotted Brush; a sleeker version of the Original Slotted Brush. The Ultra Slotted Brush has a thinner profile than the original slotted brush with approxamitely half the bristles allowing you the same working properties but designed for handing a lesser amount of paint. It is ideal for broad application of thin layers of encaustic paint and wax medium such as in glazing undercoating and top coating. A natural companion to the heat gun however the same precautions need to be followed to prevent singeing of the natural hair bristles. The Ultra Slotted Brush has an even greater surface area allowing for quicker response to heat application which means more spontenaity for you. The greater surface area of this brush also enables you to build up texture quickly without the use of a heat gun since it does not hold unto heat as much as the original slotted brush.
