I have a soapstone woodstove. Since a stone stove does not get as hot as a metal stove, I wasn't 100% sure this product would work. It has exceeded my expectations. The fan comes on when the stove surface temperature exceeds 150 degrees. It is both quiet and efficient. Well done! I highly recommend this green product.

WORKED EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED AND MOVES THE HEAT FROM THE CORNER AROUND THE STOVE AND PUSHES IT OUT INTO THE ROOM. ROOM AND ADJACENT ROOMS HEAT UP FASTER THAN W/O THE FAN.

We really love this fan, I am so bummed we hadn't heard of it earlier. I want to get another one to blow air in the opposite direction! It works very well, and obviously uses no energy which is great! It's idiot proof too, you just set it on the woodstove and it turns itself on and off, I really cannot say enough wonderful things about it!
