Customer Rating: - Still the most comfortable ear protection around
My dad always went out of his way to get these, after having tried many alternatives in his many years in the auto industry. Reluctant to just accept that answer was still true many years later, I bought and tried a bunch of (generally more expensive) alternatives, both plugs and those things that look like headphones. None are as comfortable as these, and these generally block sound better than anything else I've tried. Everyone's ears are different, but if my experience is at all typical you could save yourself the time and money and just get these! I only gave them 4 stars because you don't really forget they're in, but they're the closest to that ideal that I've found so far.

I've tried softer earplugs with inadequate results. Went back to these, and they do a great job of muffling all the noise coming off the crackhouse next door.

I had originally learned about these from medical personnel administering an MRI. They were the product selected for silencing sound from the MRI machine. I find them comfortable and like the individual packaging for travel and ease of use.
