Didn't last worth a HOOT!
I needed sun protection over my new vehicle and in front of my garage & workshop here in So. Cal. where summers can be brutally hot. So I bought 3 10x20 8 legged canopies that did pretty well. But the canopy material only lasted about 2 yrs. of 24/7 weather. So, when I got to the point of replacement of all 3, I thought putting a Dry Top Tarp over each canopy would maybe help them last at least twice longer. The 18x24 was the perfect size. I put up all 3 in late March right after some on-going severe winds we get from time to time. My tie-down system worked perfectly. Then last month, I noticed a deterioration area in one. Then another. Now would you know, each one has deteriorated to the point of worthlessness, and they have been up less than 6 months! And since installation, there has been virtually no heavy winds that would cause any early ripping in the fabric. I even used parachute cord to criss-cross each top to help prevent the "billowing" effect and defer any extra stress on the tarp material. So, I can only conclude that this touting of "Super-Heavy-Duty UV Treated" is just a crock of HOOEY! Don't waste your money on this product.

Not Quite As Heavy Duty As Claimed...
It is a moderately good tarp but barely worth about the 65 that it costs here, and, as another reviewer has noted (for a different size) it is NOT Heavy-Duty much less Super-Heavy-Duty. It is sturdier than the blue tarps one sees often. My tarp weighed about 14 lbs. giving an areal density of about 4.7 oz./sq. yd. Truly Heavy-Duty, 12 mil., 6 oz/sq.yd. tarps are available at about the same price including shipping at, for example, coversuperstoredotcom.

Great Tarp - Would buy another
My garage needs a new roof, but I have not decided the direction I want to go with that. Since the roof leaks and we get lots of rain, I needed to put a new tarp over it to replace the current one. Blue tarps really stick out, so I picked this color. The silver side, with all the folds showing, makes the tarp look like a slate roof. This tarp was shipped quickly and works great. It's really strong. Definitely would purchase this again.
