My countertop water distiller is a wonderful appliance. It makes clean and tasty water from tap water, which at this house comes directly from a creek. There is little maintainance needed, just an occasional change of the charcoal filter or a chemical bath cycle to clean out mineral deposits. I was happy to find the filters and the cleaning product available through Amazon, an easy way to purchase them.
