Great Buy
I have had this compressor for a few days now and it is fairly quiet for an air compressor. This compressor seems to easily keep up with very well for its small size. The drain value on the one i just bought was easy to get at unlike one some of the older versions of this model where you did have to prop up one of the sides to get at it.

no disapointments here
I shopped and read alot of reviews on many compressors. I settled on this one because of it's performance. It is more than i should ever need however, it is very annoying when you don't have what you need. I bought mine at home depot because of to many shipping problems i read of from amazon. And i got it thirty dollars cheaper. Nothing against amazon. I will continue to shop amazon. I am very impressed with this little machine. It has very quick recovery time. I am not a contractor so I may not be pushing it as hard some people might. In my garage for my little projects it couldn't be better. It is a little noisy so i just roll it out the door while in use. hope this helps. p.s. i never liked writing so sorry for any errors.

Solid compressor in a small package
I've had my compressor for about 6 months now. I use it primarily for finish nailing (low air consumnption), and also for dlowing out the dust in the shop (high consumption). The unit is well constructed, and the design is good. The "handle" on the front is designed to protect the control panel and your hose connection should the compressor be tipped over for any reason. (Design note about the tank drain valve applies to the unit I bought in july 2007).
The big draw for me was the tank size. Although it's compact, the higher tank pressure (200 PSI) means it holds about as much air as a 26 gal tank. It is only slightly louder that the PC pancake it replaces.
I have the unit now running in a corner of my shop, and connected to a hose reel. Works well in this configuration. It's not light, though, so I'm keeping my pancake compressor for trips to job sites.
What I like: Solid design. Higher capacity tank in a compact package. Good reserve of air.
What I don't like: short electrical cord

Nice unit, but weak recovery
Okay, I must admit that I bought this compressor partially because it looks good in my garage. I have a 4 hp, 12 ga. campbell hausfeld and use air tools often but also needed portability. At 200 PSI I thought this would be the ticket. The impact wrench I use is rated at 5 cfm. This unit states that it has an output of 5.4 CFM. After about a minute using the impact wrench, I need to stop to allow the tank to pressurize. Seems to take a long time to pressurize from 100 to 200 PSI. I would venture to guess that this unit is more like 4 CFM at 90 PSI. If Dewalt had placed a larger HP on this unit, it would have made a big difference. Unit is much quieter than my CH and appears to be better built. I like the welded handle and the ease of portability though.
