Product facts:
  • Great for the garage or around the pool; for drywall, sawdust, grass, leaves or sand
  • Even works incredibly well on carpet!
  • For high traffic areas, steps or stairs, goes deeper than even the most expensive vacuum cleaner, pulling out tough customers like pet and human hair

Buyer Reviews

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Will purchase more for gifts
I was looking for cheaper and more environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. I got the book, "Organic Housekeeping" by Ellen Sandbeck from my local library. She talked about cleaning floors and recommended the "Dutch Rubber Broom". I worked for the Dutch company Philips for several years and my only comment is that the Dutch people know "neat and clean" inside-out. I looked for the aforementioned broom on the Internet and found it in several places and decided to buy it via Amazon, because I'd never been disappointed in anything I'd purcased from Amazon or one of their retail partners.
I'm 50+ years old and I've owned and used mops of all designs. As described in Ellen Sandbeck's book, Nothing beats throwing down a clean damp cloth down onto a vinyl floor and using this broom to rub the floor down and then using the squegee side to remove excess water and dirty. I feel I don't need fancy cleaners, just a little soap and water and I have a very clean floor.
I also love it as a broom when I spill something in the kitchen or bathroom - everything is swept off the floor.
I also love it for heavy traffic areas of my carpeted rooms. Human and Pet hair, etc. is truly picked up from the carpet surface.
I will buy several more as gifts this Holiday season and for years to come.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for pulling stuff from under couches and kids' beds.
I just ordered two more One Sweep Rubber Brooms. They are so useful for sweeping things up or gathering items on carpeted surfaces. I use it regularly to pull things such as legos and small toys from under my kids' beds. It's also great for getting things out from under the couch. I highly recommend it. I don't use it specifically to get animal hair up out of carpet, my vacuum does that job, but I love it's versatility and many uses. Makes my housework as a mom of eight so much easier!

Customer Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - low quality
Very disappointed. I bought three, thinking i would give two as gifts. i would be embarrassed to give these to anyone. They look very cheap, are smaller than you would think and the head of it is LAVENDER! Off brand imitation of the one sweep plain brown box packaging. If you want a funny looking broom to give a little girl for her playhouse, here you go.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Does more than expected.
We used to have one a while ago and lost it in the move. We used to screw up our vacuum with hair, but no more. If you pull it like directed on carpet, it gets all the hair. It took us a long time to get another, I'll never give it up again. Great invention, the break-up handle makes it PERFECT.
