Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not for bathrooms
Holmes used to make a bathroom heater, and I loved it. I *hate* stepping out of a shower to either a steamy room and a fog drenched mirror, or a room that's freezing because the door was left open (to avoid said steaminess). I live in Chicago, so in the winters, and especially during this long, lonely, cold month, a warm bathroom is essential.

My Holmes heater died last year, so this year I went looking to replace it, only to find that Holmes no longer makes a bathroom heater. I searched on Amazon, and found a review for this heater that said it was great for bathrooms. Given that, and the name of the heater itself "SafeHeat Fan Heater", I thought I might be able to use it in the bathroom.

When it was delivered, I found that it is not intended for use in the bathroom.

I decided to use it in the bathroom anyway, as the tub is far enough away from where the heater is plugged in that death by SafeHeat-electrocution isn't a concern.

It's a nice heater, and works very well. If it tips over, it automatically turns off (still not safe enough for bathroom use...but...)

I highly recommend this, but realize that SafeHeat doesn't mean SafeBathroom.

Customer Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - shuts off too often, hard to restart
although i am very happy with my little Holmes heater, thought i would try something different for my second heater. seemed like a good idea at the time, from the description. unfortunately, when it shuts off at the "right" temperature, it doesn't restart easily. it also does not get very warm. returned the product, and bought my second Holmes heater.

Customer Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Blows out Fuses....
My office is in a brick building located next to a small river so we constantly have a damp cold feeling near the floor in the winter. We bought four of these heaters with the hope of everyone in the office being able to run them by their desk and keep their feet warm. The problem is that these things use so much energy that they kept tripping our fuses.

There are two energy settings on the left of the machine, 1 and 2. There's a fan control on the right. Our office building is new and up to code. We can't run even two of these with the lower number 1 heat setting selected. Nothing else can be on in the office besides the lights and the fuses still trip.

They also could of made this a bit simpler to use with a "off, fan only, low heat, high heat" setting.

There's no anti-tip auto shutoff device on this that I can find. It's designed so airflow won't stop if it falls over, but if this thing gets kicked over sucks in your curtains, you are s.o.l because I can tip one unit over and come back to it a few minutes later and it is still blowing very hot air.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - What a Bargin!
This is a great little heater for the money. It works for two purposes, one, to just warm up your feet and two, to take the chill out of a larger room. This is the second DeLonghi heater we have. It has a regulator so you can have it switch off when it's at the temperature you want. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. It's also very safe for children and animals because it has no elements that are exposed.

The HP Compaq tc4400 convertible tablet offers decent performance and battery life, though we recommend adding more RAM.

Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.
