Saving old 35mm slides
I am using this to convert old 35mm slides to digital. I am impressed with the quality of the results. The scanner will handle 4 slides at once, giving a preview of each if you want. Otherwise load the slides and scan. Attached is an example of a slide from 1964. The reproduced picture matches the slide very well. I plan on scanning about 1500 slides from 1951 to the 1980's. I like the results I am getting from this product.

Scan perfect
The Canon Scanner has produced great images from both my slides and negatives. The software that came with the unit makes the entire process so easy. The unique top light changed my mind about flat bed scanners, scanning slides. I can scan 4 at a time and the software breaks them up into individual images. Really great.

Cannon saves old 35mm negs
By using this scanner and the Adobe picture software I am in the process of capturing 1000's of negs. Progress is much more organized and faster than copying 1 picture at a time with great clarity and sharpness.
