Good for home mechanic use. Solid, heavy, and well made. They are all steel except for a part inside the coupler. The coupler body is not brass even though it looks like brass in the picture. Made in chinA.

I bought this to add additional attachments to my Husky-brand air compressor that I purchased from Home Depot. The connector system is an exact match to the one used on the Husky, which is not surprising since Campbell Hausfeld manufactured the Husky for Home Depot. The connector system seems like it will last, is air tight, and is easy to use. Highly recommeded.
