These shavers need a new foil and cutter block every 12 to 18 months, depending on toughness of beard and frequency of use. Braun Syncro shavers are noted for their four-way moving head that captures and cuts more hair in fewer strokes. Current combo is definately a significant improvement over the original foil and does a better job shaving. With free shipping (you may need other items to get to $25) it is the best deal I could find

I bought this to replace the original blade and foil on my Braun 7680, and it made it better than new! The revised irregular pattern makes for a much more consistent shave with fewer missed hairs. Just don't forget the 'lectric pre-shave face conditioner.
