I've had this unit since June 08. Our back yard is about 1/2 acre, but has a lot of trees and brush left in a "natural state" We live in Georgia and couldn't go outside without Off sprayed all over us and our grandkids. We saw a substantial reduction in our backyard, down to maybe 1/4th of the mosquitos we were getting previously. But no difference in the front yard. Also we were suprised at how much propane we have to use to keep the unit running. 1 tank every 18 days. The amazing part is we know when to replace the propane based on the amount of the lil' beasts showing up. It's a good trade off for the price, and we would get another one for the front yard if the propane use was not so high. Don't believe the coverage area advertised, our whole property is about 2/3rd acre and we only get 75% reduction over 1/2 acre.

Customer Rating: - High malfunction rate
Started off with a defective regulator that caused little CO2 to be given off and few mosquitoes caught. Then control unit died. Both replaced but than the unit died completely outside warranty. Was fairly effective once it worked properly, but for the price I expect it to last more than one season without breaking down. Like other similar brands it is expensive and prone to malfunction.

This machine wipes out the mosquito population in a large area and the nasty no-see-ums as well. We took back our yard at night thanks to this machine. Worth every single penny.
