I was very interested in the reviews for this product; but, found that most were several years old - and, I'd guess, all were 'male' users. My attitude may change in the coming week's, and if it does - I'll revise; but right now I think that is the SWEETEST mower I've ever put my hands on! I unloaded it, assembled it with no problem, the instructions on assembly and maintenance were 'picture' perfect. There's no-gas mix, no-fight with the 'cord' to start, no-choking, no 'spitting', no-smell -- she just purred her way through a lawn that hadn't been touched in almost 3 weeks! Sure; it may take a few sessions to get used to the cord - but, really, no different than a vacumn! This 60+ 'operator' would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to cut-back on 'lawn service'!

Customer Rating: - Problem with plastic handle
I have this mower for three years. It was generally OK: light and powreful. However, orange plastic handle has recently been broken by itself (in small pieces, non-reparable). I tried to find a replacement part without success. If somebody has similar experience, please advice how one can fix it. Also, does anybody know if it is mandatory to wear rubber shoes when using this mower as well as to have a ground fault circuit interrupter attached to the outlet?

My first one was stolen. I just killed the second one by hitting a stump and bending the shaft after3 years of use. Mine have been dependable and well behaved.
The cord issue just takes practice and works best (in a square or rectangular yard) if you coil the cord in a corner and start there working diagonally across the yard to the corner to corner cut the back to the far corner. Also keeping the blade sharp is key, I use the Dremel kit on mine about once a month. The low noise, light weight, lack of exhaust, no gas or oil to buy and store, super easy starting, make it a personal favorite.
