Amazon.com Review:The power tool pros at Black & Decker venture into the household utility room, lending their expertise to creating functional and dynamic irons for garment care. The Quick Press Iron replaces the S530 model for efficient steam pressing for a range of fabrics. Lightweight, the 1200-watt iron endears itself to users with its soft grip for ergonomic comfort while pressing.
The steam iron features a nonstick soleplate that applies even heat to fabrics while sliding with ease. The iron offers variable steam patterns, including spray mist and steam surge, for effective wrinkle removal. For filling the tank with water, the iron comes with a pouring cup. With a pivoting cord, users maneuver the iron freely. To clean the soleplate, wipe the warm surface gently with a soft cloth and white vinegar, then wipe the vinegar and starch build-up away with a clean damp cloth. Do not use steel wool on the soleplate to protect its nonstick coating. As with any electrical appliance, read the enclosed warnings and safety guidelines prior to use. The iron weighs 3 pounds upon shipping.

Good for the price
It's not the best iron, but it works well. It has a rotary heat setting selector just below the handle. My gripe with it is that it clicks very loudly. When I iron in the morning i'm always afriad that i'll wake up my girlfriend and i'm sure that I have with this iron. Otherwise it was a good intermediate purchase. This should do good for a yearor so before I upgrade to a better one. The i'll use this as a spare.

Bought as a replacement, seems fine
I will update this review after a few uses but so far it seems like it is an economical replacement for my old iron. My old one had one of those button-push retractable cords. Over time, it got to the point where the cord would either not stay out or would be a hassle to put back in.

Disappointed
I recently (November '07) purchased a Black and Decker Light 'N Easy iron. I have been so disappointed. It sticks to my clothing when I iron, on any heat setting. I can't do anything to help me iron my clothes without it sticking, like ironing on wax paper. Nothing helps. It does not steam properly. Neither does it heat evenly. And I do not have my warrenty anymore, or I'd take it back to Walmart pronto! This has taught me a lesson.
