Customer Rating: - Easy to use, good trimmer for medium to light trimming
Easy assembly. Easy to operate. Works well. I trimmed my yard three times before I had to recharge. I don't have a lot of heavy trimming to do but this works well on long grass and weeds. My old 4 stroke trimmer was probably better on heavy trimming but the hassle and cost of keeping it tuned and running every year was not worth it. If this product proves to be durable, I will consider other Black and Decker 18 volt products.

No surprise here. This trimmer is satisfactory for light trimming. It does not cut a clean edge along a sidewalk. The battery runs for about 20 minutes. The convenience justifies the anemic performance.

I love this cordless trimmer. The only problem I have with it is the battery charger. They should have included two instead of only one or they should have included the 90 minute charger. I would highly recommend buying the 90 minute charger for this trimmer. I wanted to buy a gas powered trimmer, but my girlfriend refused. I am sold on this cordless trimmer, and I thank my hippy girlfriend everyday.

Customer Rating: - B&D Cordless Stringtrimmer
I went cordless with 3 major gardentools this year, the Stringtrimmer, a chainsaw and a polesaw. For me this is the way to go, rather than mess with mixing fuels, starting problems, etc. The B&D cordless trimmer and polesaw I bought are performing extremely well in all aspects. Of course the trimmer, since I am running it all out practically without stopping, requires me to change the battery about every 15 - 20 minutes of constant use. Since I also have a hedge trimmer from B & D I have plenty of batteries and can change to another battery within seconds. I would buy these items again without hesitation.
