Buyer Reviews

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AMAZING NIGHT VISION!
This is one of our best investments now that we live on 8 picturesque acres in NE PA. We've seen all kinds of night animals from deer to owls, bear and even a bobcat. This spotlight works better than we ever expected. The only drawback is the 48 hour charge that is required before use. Other than that we are extremely happy with our purchase!

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - black and decker 20 mill light
just a great light,I use it out in the desert at night.lights up like a b29 landing. I couldn't ask for anything better, I just love it. only problem is, every one wants to use it. larry [ole] olson las vegas nv

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not a Black and Decker
First things first: This is NOT a Black and Decker product. The brand is Vector. Vector is what is says on the box, and on the warranty card. The fact that Black and Decker has purchased the Vector company does not change any of this. However, the review should reflect the item, not Amazon's description of the product, so I will not subtract any stars for the false advertising by Amazon.

The only spotlight in this class I can compare with, is Cyclops 15 million candle power. Compared to Cyclops the Vector is outstanding. The light beams are much more focused and therefore the range is much better. I'd say the range is very impressive. Vector is also more robust and more comapct. I partically like the option of using one OR two spotlight, which will save on the battery. There is also a 12V outlet port on the light, which could be used for charging cell phones etc. In addition you got the "emergency LED" on the handle.

Charging is where this fellow has its downside. Initial charge is suppose to be 36 hours and then the green diod is suppose to come on. This never happened on my light. If the battery is fully charged or not, I do not know. Also the charging time could be better. Charging 36 hours for perhaps half an hour of light is a bit over the top. The cyclops loading time is just 12-14 hours.

Overall, it is a very impressive spotlight with a centered focused beam, which gives it a long range. There are flexibility in the two main switches, LED and 12V charger. Unfortunately charging time is way too long and running time with both lights on are not very impressive.

Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Horrible flashlight
Oh my god. This is the worst flashlight I've ever owned. Making it worse, its the most expensive one too. This damn thing cost me about $70, and it works like crap. It is extremely large and heavy, and the pictures here don't really convey just how big and heavy this flashlight is. Unless you want a workout out you are not going to be holding or carrying this around for very long.
This thing takes forever to charge and on top of that it loses its charge even when not in use. Even on a full charge this damn thing only lasted about 20 minutes, losing half or more of its brightness in the first 5 to 10 minutes before going completely dead. The buttons are difficult to push and this thing is extremely cumbersome to handle. The worst part is I didn't even find it to be bright when fully charged.
