Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Best Pads for the Price
I just got these pads today and they seem pretty good so far. They are definitely the cheapest adult pads I could find and are pretty good for the price. The velcro seems like it may be a little cheap and gets stuck on the plastic "loops" when you try to take them off, but that's really not a big problem. I'd say the most annoying part is that the elbow AND knee pads slide on and then velcro. This means you have to put the knee pads on before you put shoes on. However, the fact that they slide on does seem to make them a lot less bulky than other pads I tried on. They itch, but what pads don't? You'll get used to it.
The fact that they are "one size" kind of worried me, but they seem to fit well. If anyone is wondering, I'd say they are about a size medium/large. Even though they have elastic and velcro, you probably couldn't tighten them enough if you are a size small. I believe I am a size large for elbow pads, but the velcro has to be pulled all the way for these to fit right.
